Aug the Third
Journal, I am so fucking tired. But, I am home. So all is well.
The campfire at Harry’s camping spot was freaking awesome, it went so much better than I thought it was going to go. I don’t know why I was so anxious about it, like, it doesn’t even make any sense. They’re my friends, they love me like I’m their brother. That’s just what it is.
Not go’n’a lie though, it’s weird to be back in town, even though I ignored the piss out of it when I was driving down Mane Road. Bogspekti Park is a thing now, apparently; I guess Harry’s dad didn’t like the idea of living up in Iiron Heights or out in The Furnace, and if those lovely neighborhoods are out then Sawblade Lane definitely isn’t an option. Whatever, it doesn’t matter. I only feel weird because I’m here to stay for the first time in two years, this isn’t a staycation like is usually is. Oh well. At least I have my fuzzy–… fuck, I forgot the clothes in the car. I didn’t even think to bring them in, Christ. Guess I’ll have to sleep naked… but I wonder what else I might be forgetting?
… … …
Knowing me, the answer to that question is the plot to this The Hillside Commons book I’m allegedly about to write. Oh, but you don’t know about that yet, do you, Journal? No you do not, but that’s fine. Like I said, I’m back for good now.
And I’m tired. So, so fucking tired.
Know what? I think that’s it for tonight.
… … …
Yeah, definitely it for tonight. I’m beat.
Thank you, Journal. ‘Preciate ya. Good sleeps and good dreams~
