Sept the Twenty-Eighth
Just finished the third subchapter of chapter 1. Abso-fuckin’-lutely killin’ it, Journal. The first subchapter is much longer than the second and third, but that’s all right. If they were all uniform it would be boring. I remember in high school we read this book called Antic Hay by a guy named Aldous Huxley (we read something else of his, too, about a dystopian future or something, but I can’t remember the title) and I shit you not, at least half of the chapters (if not all of the chapters) were practically the exact same length, exactly ten pages… or… actually, maybe I’m remembering that wrong. I don’t know, I smoked a lot of weed between then and now, my memory is pretty shot.
Anyway, I’m about to cruise on down to the library to see my woman and read a book. Hopefully I’ll run into Wong so I can tell him how dope The Death of Amy Cheese was. I didn’t tell him I got it yet because I wanted to surprise him after I finished it, which I did. Will that be a surprise? Hmm… I think so. I would certainly be surprised if, after The Face of Fear is done and published, some random Logger came up to me and said they read it. Even if they totally hated it, I’d still be pleasantly surprised, mostly at the fact that they’re capable of reading at all.
But anywho, yeah, solid five hours today. I think I wrote even more than I did yesterday, and in less time too! Like, not a lot more, only a couple hundred words (if I’m not completely retarded), but still. Progress!! Novelwriting is a muscle, and the more I do it, the better I will become. These words ‘bout’a be flowin’ like water, Journal. Mark my words.
Well, you can’t mark my words, I mark my words into you, but that’s… whatever.
… … …
Say thankya, Journal. ‘Preciate ya. Long days and pleasant nights~
