Sept the Thirtieth (cont’d)
Journal, I feel so much better today. I don’t know what came over me yesterday, it just felt like I was doing everything wrong for some reason, like I was writing just for the sake of writing, not because I have a beautiful story to tell. To be fair, I am writing for the sake of writing – if I didn’t put my words into this novel, you’d have caught them in its place – but that’s not the only reason. Albey is alive, really and truly, and now that his friends are no longer with him, he has a journey to take. And I’m the only one who can guide him along his journey, just like Stephen King was the only one who could bring Roland to the Dark Tower. I may not a have a job, not like Tori or Carl or my parents or pretty much everybody else in this flooded minehole of a town I live in, but I have a job to do nonetheless.
And I’m going to do that job, even if it kills me… bum bum bummmm!!! Lightning strikes in the distance, thunder claps an uproarious applause. The beams shatter, the Tower falls, Discordia reigns as darkness descends unto the universe. Lmao. I’m having a good day today. Maybe it’s because I got to appreciate some sacred geometry last night, or maybe I just woke up on the right side of the bed this morning. Who’s to say?
… … …
Say thankya, Journal. ‘Preciate ya. Long days and pleasant nights~
