The manuscripts are all reformatted. They look pretty nice. I’m excited to get them out. The editing frightens me a little bit though. I still haven’t started. Haven’t started back in on Over the River yet either. Tomorrow for sure.
In resale news, I’m officially in the green on my DVDs. I got a bunch of free stuff and bumped the lot up from 87 pieces to 100 pieces and today I sold a few heavy hitters, got $17. That makes $36 total, my money’s almost doubled. Yes, it’s pocket change we’re talking about, but this is only me dipping my pinkie toe back in the waters. I got out of the game for a couple years and now I’m back and I’m in the green on my first buy. This is a good start. Resale is a bitch, but like any other dog it can be tamed, just takes time and effort. I’m making a pickup tomorrow morning too, getting a couple of camping chairs and a whole lot of miscellaneous stuff for free from a lady up in NY. Some of it’s for me, the rest is inventory. I don’t know how much of it I’ll be able to sell through facebook marketplace, I’m making this pickup with the auction hall in mind. The lady has a bunch of free ads up and she’s a half hour away, if I’m gonna drive all the way the hell up there I might as well come home with a haul, y’understan’? Time will tell, ‘man. If all else fails, my dad’s got a construction dumpster in the driveway. Fuck it.
I think resale’s returned presence in my life is taking my attention away from the bookmaking a little bit. That’s okay though. It’s like a fling, it’ll die down. Honestly, I think I just need to get through editing one book and then the rest will be cake. It’s always starting a project that’s the hardest part. We’ll get there, noted reader. Just give it some time. I’ll give it the effort if you give it the time.
Since you’re there, noted reader, thank you for being there. From this day on, we move forever forward~
