I'm not sure I've ever posted an excerpt of Flowers. I wrote this cold piece of work in five days. Took around a weekish to edit it. It's about an apocalypse and the few consciousnes's who survive it, has a bunch of marijuana leaves on the front cover. What else do you need to know?

Always liked this piece. Fits the project really well. A Lyme-Brained Rhyme Game is a novel - or novelette, if you like wordcount - presented in the form of a poetry collection. As the book proceeds, the author - the main character of the piece - travels deeper and deeper into his psyche until he has a conversation with the voice in his head, and then the story keeps going!

They're each a different genre, they each take place in a different universe, and they're all connected by what the author of the book (a main character) describes as "very strange metaphysical events."
